Exterior Lights of State Capitol Darkened for Earth Hour

Prominent Saint Paul landmarks will participate in Earth Hour on Saturday, March 29 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

ST. PAUL – The exterior lights of the Minnesota State Capitol Building will be darkened tomorrow, Saturday March 29 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. as part of the City of Saint Paul’s recognition of Earth Hour.

All of the Capitol’s ornamental and up-lighting will be extinguished for one hour during the annual energy conservation event. All pedestrian and security lighting will remain lit during this time.
