There are a number of public parking options for those visiting the Minnesota State Capitol Complex. The blue symbol seen on the right indicates available public parking space in parking lots and ramps. See the tabs below for complete information on parking. Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Admin Plant Management offers Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in:
Electric vehicle owners visiting the Capitol Complex may park and charge their EV for a maximum of 4 hours at this station. Payment for parking is not required at this location and the vehicle must be plugged in and connected to the station.
Please note - All other parking in Lot C is contract parking only. Violators of this rule will be ticketed.
Electric vehicle owners visiting the Capitol Complex must pay for their parking at the pay station in Ramp F. Users may plug-in for a maximum of 4 hours.

Centennial Parking Ramp (orange level, east of the Centennial Office Building, accessed from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), in proximity to:
Lot AA (west of the State Office Building on Rice Street), in proximity to:
Ramp F (west of the Transportation Building on Rice Street), in proximity to:
Lot H (west of the Veterans Service Building), in proximity to:
Lot K (12th Street, east of the Veterans Service Building, limited parking, 4 hour limit) in proximity to:
Lot Q (northeast of the Administration Building, Cedar Street and Sherburne Avenue, metered area only, see map), in proximity to:
Lot U (south of the 14th Street Ramp, adjacent to the Stassen Building and east of the Freeman Office Building, see map), in proximity to:

Metered parking is controlled by Admin Plant Management. These state parking facilities are monitored and enforced by Capitol Security Division of the Department of Public Safety. Capitol Security is also available to provide an escort service to your vehicle. Call 651-296-6741 to request an escort and allow up to 20 minutes for escort to arrive.
Metered city street parking is available at the following locations:
Metered city street parking is patrolled and enforced by the City of St. Paul. Parking meters typically take quarters only, with one quarter buying 12 minutes of parking time.
Public disability parking is available throughout the Capitol Complex. This parking is in close proximity to building accessibility entrances. Vehicles must display either a disability parking certificate or a disability license plate issued by the Department of Public Safety.

State-owned visitor parking locations on the Capitol Complex are equipped with multi-space parking meter pay stations. Payment options include Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, $1 and $5 bills, as well as coins. Parking can be paid at a rate of $1.75 per hour or $7.00 for an all-day rate.
Easy to follow screen prompts provide instructions and each transaction generates a receipt showing the expiration time with the stall number for reference. Customers can add time from any pay station on the Capitol Complex.
