Located at 1006 Summit Avenue in St. Paul's historic Summit Avenue neighborhood, the Minnesota Governor's Residence is one of many stately houses in the area originally built for families that are today a part of the fabric of Minnesota history.
The need to provide a comprehensive restoration of the Governor's Residence has been well documented over the years. In January of 2012, the Department of Administration initiated predesign efforts for the repair, restoration, and preservation of the Residence.
Tours of the Residence will not be held this year to accommodate restoration work. The website for the Minnesota Governor's Residence is also being upgraded at this time. Please check back on this web page for future updates. Updated information and a 2014 tour schedule are expected to be available by April 2014. In the meantime, check out the new video tour of the Residence, available below.
