Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointments to the Technology Advisory Committee on November 14, 2011, kicking-off the implementation of a new governance structure for the management of information technology at the State of Minnesota, including the consolidation of state information systems and services. Both the Technology Advisory Committee and IT Consolidation were mandated by legislation in the 2011 1st Special Session.
The Technology Advisory Committee will be part of a larger State IT governance structure now under development to ensure that all constituencies - agency IT staff and management as well as IT business customers - have input into enterprise direction now and in the future.
