09, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN – The Commission on Judicial Selection announced today that a judgeship vacancy is occurring in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District Court. The Honorable Skipper J. Pearson is retiring, leaving a vacancy to be chambered at Milaca in Mille Lacs County in the Seventh Judicial District.

Governor Dayton appoints John Linc Stine Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

09, 2012 - Saint Paul, MN - Today, Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointment of John Linc Stine as Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Last week Governor Dayton appointed Stine as Acting Commissioner of the MPCA, following the announcement that Commissioner Paul Aasen would leave to take a position with the City of Minneapolis. Stine will assume the role of Commissioner on May 14th.
